This is your essential training ground for Ultra-Trail Australia by UTMB®.

Whether you’re tackling 11 km or aiming for the 100+, you’ll learn how to:

  • Train specifically for Ultra-Trail Australia by UTMB® distances (11km – 100km+)

  • Learn efficient climbing & descending techniques for steep trails

  • Build strength & endurance to handle rugged Blue Mountains terrain

  • Master pacing strategies to finish strong, not burnt out

  • Discover fuelling & hydration tactics for long trail efforts

  • Get expert advice on gear selection to suit the course demands

  • Learn how to read the trail & course profiles with confidence

  • Prevent injuries with form & technique coaching

  • Build the mental grit to thrive on race day

We’ll help you refine technique, prevent injury, and find the mental grit needed to thrive in the Blue Mountains.

FORMAT:

This will be a Stop/Start Session where we will run around 10K but at multiple spots we will be stopping in order to learn, practice and demonste correct technique before moving on to the next section. The sections will stop at, demonstrate & practice - Stair Climbing, Stair Decending, Technical Trail Flat, Technical Trail Climb, Technical Trail Decend, Fire Road Power Hiking, Fire Road Decending.

There are 2 spots to refill water bottle/flasks

WHAT TO CARRY: 1lt Fluid - Small Food Portion - PhonE

PARTICIPANT LIMITS

We are only allowing for a maximum of 15 Runners Per Saturday.
This is to ensure that everyone gets the maximum amount of training from the session and limits the amount of people spreading out.
